“In July 2022, the Micheaux Film Festival gave us our short film “THE PULPIT: PRELUDE” its first festival award as well! After being nominated in 3 separate categories, we couldn’t be more proud to have been awarded Outstanding Lead Actor.

Anyone who knows anything about filmmaking knows that every award is truly an award for EVERYONE who made the film. Everyone who funded it. Everyone who believed in it. Everyone who trusted in us. Everyone who supported and amplified it. All the cast and crew. All our families and seed funders. And most importantly, all the courageous faith leaders and advocates who survive and persevere even in the face of prejudice and violence. So thank you, each and everyone of you.
